I would like to attribute any success Ihad to the inventor of the eraser, Charles Goodyear. He invented and revolutionized rubber when else.... but the Gilded age!

I'm glad the review helped.
Darn, I hate to be a picky prof, but I feel bound to point out that Charles Goodyear lived from 1800 - 1860, so he preceded the Gilded Age by just a little bit.
On the other hand, I am sure the company itself probably became a corporate giant around that time, so close enough!
